Other important pre-event information;

• Doors will open an hour before the first game on both Saturday and Sunday.

• The only entrance to both courts will be the northeast main doors to the Hastings HS gym.

• No coolers or outside food allowed. Marked water bottles are fine.

• Please arrive at least a half-hour before your first game. Coaches need to pick up their tournament packet and passes along with getting your team checked in.

• A reminder that each team is required to provide their own scorekeeper and that person will get a free pass for the weekend.

• New this year are scorebooks for each team, so remember to keep your team's marked book throughout the weekend. 

• Remind your players to mark their basketballs with their names!

• The home team is the first team listed on the schedule. Will sit to the right of the score table. 

• Please tell your parents and fans to be patient upon arriving and going through the admissions gate for your first game. A lot of things going on to get this event underway.

Gate admission is as follows -

• Kids under 6 are free.

• Student two-day pass $10 one day stamp $10 hint buy the pass. Sunday only $10.

• Adult two-day pass $15 one day stamp $10. Sunday only $10 hint buy the pass as everyone plays 5 games in the two days.

We are working on getting you some coupons to use at the concession stand. Look for them in your packet. 

​

Nebraska Select summer program will have their 14U coach looking for some players for that team/program. Currently, they have 6 to 7 players, so looking to evaluate at least 4 players.

Please ask your 8th graders if they have any interest in playing in at least 3 tournaments in July. Schedule upon request.

Officials - They are not easy to find especially over a holiday weekend. Please be considerate and understand their eyes are not your eyes or your parents' eyes. Let them officiate, thanks!

​

Motel rooms - I'm still holding on to 8-10 rooms at the Fairfield in GI. I'll have to give them up by May 25th. Need an easy find as Hastings will be a busy place that weekend will softball back in town.
